Early life of schooling

Clean shirts and trousers, an enormous ridiculous bag which may look like the bag should carry you, a water bottle round the neck and an anticipation of what to foresee at the school on your face. These are in contrast to the way I return back from the school! That is, with a bright smile and a satisfaction of returning home, dirty shirts and trousers and a bag which feels rather so light compared to the one carried in the morning! (thts jus bcos of the happiness of being back!)
Towards the first week when the school start, I would have definitely fallen once and tore my pants with a awe full bleed on my knees. Yes, that was typically the way I used to go to school until 4th sntrd.

As expected, I was very particular in keeping my name up in my school. I was one among the best students in my class. I used to be right there in the first 3 ranks. Quite often the second rank. The first used to be Diana(yea...she's gona b in d story for quite sometime!). See, I was so kind in not breaking a little girls heart if she would miss her first rank! (yea not admitting the fact....take it!) My sister used to pay some visits to my class during the break time. I used to feel so proud when she comes and check about me. The irony is that now,its bugging when she nose into everything I do! ;)...ahem..nyway..

Now there is a major portion in my lower high school. Thats when I went to India in my 3rd standard and joined Don Bosco High School in Irinjalakuda, Trissur. Yea...those of you who dont know,Im from the cultural paradise of kerla -Trissur. Well the shift was not something I took so easily. Initially it was like a dream come true. I do realize the affection and importance my relatives in India used to give us when we come down for a month or so from Dubai. Therefore I was pretty happy that Im gona be there in the limelight for a longtime, once in India! Well things were good initially as expected. But I was not aware of the truth of life that a good distance is always good to keep the relation lively. Once months passed by, people busy with their regular chores and no deadlines on our forehead or any return tickets to Dubai in our name, the attention graph started plummeting. Its the way it is but as a child, I was not able to take that pretty well! The craving of the lost city Dubai stated nurturing in my heart ever since!

Superpowers comes with super responsibilities. In my case, I got a hell of a responsibility but the package dint even have a note about any superpowers! It was when we started resuming the construction of our home at Irinjalakuda. As a kid at 6th standard, you might think what good could he have done or what extent of responsibilities I could ever take at such a tender age. Well the answer to it is quite simple. A major portion of the respect I still get in my family and most importantly in my community where i live in kerala constitutes to that child in me who proved that even at that age, you could take responsibilities and do a chunk of work.

My childhood's most attractive portion constitutes and prevails towards building my home. It may be called rather dry because I did not spend much time playing cricket with my friends but to rather supervise on the lazy workers at the job site and make sure that my dad's money is not going to a sleepy man's pocket! hehe ....well Im pretty sure that I have done a good job. I used to make friends with all the workers who come there and at the same time I made a silent point that, "Im not here to cheer you, but to check upon you!". The best part was the workers knew themselves that if spotted in this kid's eye, the information would go up the ladder! If so, sooner or later he has to get down the ladder and take it with him to the next possible site! hehe. Taking about that phase, I cant avoid mentioning about my BSA SLR. That's my bicycle. It was my first partner in life :). I have never fallen from that bicycle ever. I used to do lotsa stunts on it, can drive at the slowest speed where you cant track the Tyre moving and also to the extent where you may perceive the spoke of the tyre as a silver disk!(a little exag.) Persistence of Vision.... (That cost me a detention of my bicycle for 2 years when I was at 4th)

Coming to the childhood, you always would have a best friend to talk about. Well yea, I have my share too. His name is Abhiram. We are friend from 3rd standard onwards. The best part is, we were such close friends who won the 'best friends' in my class from 3rd to 8th standard in a row! What happened in 9th is that, I went back to Dubai. It was so heart breaking but the only thing kept me alive is the sausage and chicken balls which I was missing for years!!! :D
Our friendship was so great that we dont have a count on how much fun we had. Rather than all the kiddish stuff, we were interested in adventure.
"When high rules are stationed, you are in motion"- Jubith.
Why cant I coin my phrase in my blog! huh ...well the phrase constitutes to the headmaster we had. Father Thannipaara. Or rather in his community, he is called as the "killer bee" (Mahali). He celebrates that name and is proud of the same. Because he could make a 10th grader piss in his pants in less than 2 minutes of interrogation! He can be also portrayed something like a 'hired gunman'. The school had a series of establishments in south India, and he would be at the school which needs real reformation in discipline, marks and overall performance. The best part is that right from the time he steps in, he makes changes. .

To be called to his office would flash all great times you had in your life and makes you aware that you have a beating heart. Because I used to feel that my heart wanna ditch me and run away and hide somewhere rather than going inside the headmasters room with me! Even though I haven't been summoned up at his office many time, there are quite a few incidents. The biggest is when we were playing at the classroom corridor after the school hours and broke a classroom's glass! The best part was that I was fielding in that area. We fled the spot and ran for our lives. The next day morning, our secret society gathered at an unsuspicious location to discuss our stands. We decided that at no cost we would admit that we have done the crime. We coined many stories about our bus timings and fraud a plot of unsynchronized timings to prove our presence at somewhere else. Everything was set. The first class begins.Time passes by. First period gets over and the second starts. We started exchanging wicked looks to our partners in crime which might have meant, "hehe...we are smart, we arent caught!" BOOMMMMM before that thought made us happy, there stands a boy in front of the class asking the teacher for permission to summon the students in the list to the headmasters office. There were some onlookers of our tremendous match who had reported our scores and the celebrations to the headmaster! The list dint miss any. In a couple of minutes, we were at the headmasters den. Standing in a row, depicting the culprits faces looking down at the floor. Before he finished addressing that an incidents occurred last day after the school hours, I heard the true stories blabbered in lack of breaths followed by continual inhalation of running noses, bickering and a shower of sorry from one of my friend! I never knew in 60 seconds you could say a 400 sorry! I gave up. The feeling was like the author of harry potter wrote about the dementors in the book. I was all chilled up. Seconds seemed like hours. Then came a statement from a Brutus vandalizing my thoughts. He was the culprit No.1. He was the batsman who sheared his power to the plane white glass! He made a comment which startled me. It was like, " Jubith was fielding there and he missed it. That is why the glass broke. He is the assistant captain!". Balls that I was the a.captain.

I was really startled at that accusation.
The headmaster looked at him and asked, " Is that the best you got?". I was not hearing a word what he was telling. I was figuring what I could tell him if he asks me anything regarding the same.
He turned at me and asked, "And is that so? Are you the proud a.Captain?". After a moments silence, I gained some courage and replied. My reply was a return shock to the deceiver.
It sounded something like this, " Sir I am the a.captain. And to make a note that no harm happens to the school's belongings, I had mentioned that there are no runs on the off side. To ensure it, I fielded there so that nothing wrong could happen. But he hammered the ball, I couldn't go for it!" I still love the look on my deceiver's face when I made that comment. At times, things what you say would backfire you. But in this case, nothing is of any use. At the end, we are gonna get screwed in the same scale to the same extent!
Our headmaster likes to play the cat & mouse game. He's like a lion who hunts down a deer. He would drain the confidence in the prey's mind and then would tantalize it for a while until he goes for the final shot. But here, something unexpected happened. He thought for a while which seemed like light years for us and then he said, " You guys can go.(Our face had hidden delight and surprise at that moment before he completed the statement) he continued, What I meant is, you can go to brother-Stefen. He would take care of you guys." He said that with a wicked smile and we were quite sure what it meant.
~Brother.Stefen~
Any warlord has his right hand person. A apprentice who tries to vanquish the throne of his master. Brother Stefen was our English teacher and the right hand of our headmaster. You know what I mean. He was as deadly as his counterpart! We were walking out of the room like zombies. OMG...WHY DONT HE FINISH US THEN AND THERE !! ...Now we have to wait! We guys were walking to the brother's office stationed across the football field. There were no planning or story making this time. We clearly knew that there is no point anymore. We reached the office and addressed him the reason of our visit. He was already informed by his master about his feast on legs! He had a whip which he takes along anywhere he goes within the school. We were just imagining how it would taste.

But to our surprise, he was having great laughs and were sharing jokes with one his old colleague who came down there after a long time to pay him a visit. When we explained the incident, his friend interfered and gave us a truck load of advices. Followed by it, brother stefen was quite kind and suppressive about his emotions and anger. In place of whips, we just got a bunch of warnings and a 10 times imposition of the chapter he took in the class last day. You guys have no idea, this meant like a 'free of charges announce by a judge!'. We were happy enough to take the impositions and returned as happy as a bunch of clowns!

Moral of the incident.
1. Never be the a.captain of a team.
2. Never leave any traces behind your crime!
3. When at war, deceive the one who deceived you!
4. No matter you write an imposition for 100 times if you dont mean it, you wont recollect anything. I dont remember the chapter's name itself !

Reminiscences of childhood

The sweetest time of anyone's life. But the irony is that, we hardly remember anything from the most auspicious time of our life! You think back and what do you remember? You eat ~ You poop ~ You sleep! Life without any responsibility and tension. I have heard most of my friends admiring those days at their peek of stress; "If i could go back n juz live a day like that!!!!"
As many may disagree reclaiming some good memories as I do as well, I feebly agree that we remember a good percentage of our childhood!
~
The oldest of my childhood memories are those times when I started going to the school, my regular oatmeal breakfast my mom used to forcefully feed me, the hallucinated walking towards the toilet to brush my teeth, my sweet sisters ultimate care she takes while I am in the school bus ( I was very vulnerable due to my cute looks at that time, she does not allow her friends to pull my cheeks or do any monkey business with me!), diana and much more. Ohh...did something click! hehe. Don’t be curious about Diana now (curiosity kills the cat). We shall come back to Diana, but let me start the sweet journey of my childhood rather than my childhood crushes! (Age:5)
Now traversing through my childhood, I was very fair, cute and chubby. I love my childhood pictures so much. The biggest goal in my childhood was to keep up my name in the good books (until lately!) and become the ideal kid of my home. My elder sister as any elder to their younger used to bully me but I don't give her an easy victory either, until she manipulate with my weakness towards DARK! (yea...i was afraid of dark, again; until lately!). I was kind hearted and lovie dovie. I even relinquish my chocolates to my sister if she insisted! Isn’t that sweet? But what i expect in return was the pat and appreciation which my parents never miss to render instantaneously. Brought up with my sister hardly 4 years elder to me, as you may expect we used to fight like cats and dogs. The best part is that we never stopped it until she left to US to pursue her undergrads! But that was a time when I was free falling to the abyss of loneliness which haunted me periodically until my mind took its own path to cover it up. That’s where I believe that life is not an integration of incidents summoning on a person but rather it is a continuous journey where each incidents leads us to another. Matter of fact, we just realize it late. If you start sensing it in prior, you would relieve a huge percentage of stress. That’s the lesson we learn from our life, but its not that easy to put in practice. The script God has is unpredictable. But the source has its reason and we are bound to play our characters well within his expectations.
The integral part of all the fun I had in my childhood has been contributed by my uncle(father's bro who i call 'chacha'). He used to live with us in our apartment in Dubai. He was fun loving and used to take good care of us. He is so jovial that we take him as our best friend to play and have fun with. Those fun times continued until I was in 10th standard when he moved from our apartment to his own. There is a reason behind it too! Its simple, we dint realize we grew up! We used to spend more time playing, making jokes and having fun with him rather than with books. That forced him to change the apartment so that the kids won’t get distracted. He was so close that we dint know that we moved from our home! He takes nightshifts while working at intermediately he never comes home in the night. We took the unnoticed gap as one of his hectic schedules of night shifts! Later we realized that he moved and we are on our own. Then the never ending pursuit to weekends started. We used to eagerly look forward to every weekend when he comes down and stays with us.
Guys, we all know that we have had a good time then. We can feel it but cannot express it at its fullest. And something you need to keep it for yourself to share it with that one special person in your life so that she doesn’t get bored with your life the first day you start living together! We should have topic to talk about, shouldn't we?

Birth of diamonedge

There were no planned intention or motivation to start this blog. The birth of my blog came just as a flash in my mind when I was wandering online, checking my inbox every 5mins and when no new posts appeared at my fb profile in every min!

But I cannot deny the fact that my best friend preethi prem may have instigated something in my mind to start this blog. I do have a fascination to writing poems and stuffs. I take all my experiments, formed and unformed, sweet and dangerous to preethi. Out of her sweet heart, she used to greatly applause every bit of my writing. She also told me that she has a collection of my sms's i send her quoting the poems i have written. That has lately struck me. Before I loose my edge I should quote it down. Thus I started blogging; even tho at times technology is a torture, preludes men to a hell of a pain; portraying its sweetness and hiding its viscous fangs!

Moreover, I take this as a means to reflect myself. To speak out to myself and keep a check on my successes and failures. I do not believe there is anything called  a 'failure', but 'events of realization to remain the best'- yea its kinda long and in common people's sense, I shall call it failure (for your sake!)

So guyz....welcome to my blog - where you may convolve some fun for thought ! A man's life is a blend of heaven's and inferno's. At one moment you may feel you are at the summit and sooner or later you would realize you are now facing its dip!
